Atoyomu is a read-it-later app that summarizes, categorizes and tags every page you save with AI running on your devices. Each device keeps its own library. The optional Mac companion returns summaries only to the device that requested them; we run no backend that can read your bookmarks.

Automatic categories and tags

Summaries are generated on-device with Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano. The upcoming optional Mac companion can send up to 8,000 characters through your private iCloud database to your approved Mac, without sending them to our backend or a cloud AI service.
Your library stays on your device

A read-it-later app knows a lot about what you're curious about. Atoyomu is built so that we don't.

Requirements
iPhone and iPad
iOS 26 / iPadOS 26 or later. Summaries require an Apple Intelligence-capable device with Apple Intelligence turned on. Share from Safari and other apps.
Mac
macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon. Processes summary requests from individually registered iPhones and iPads using the same Apple Account. The Mac app has no Safari sharing extension.
Android
Android 15 or later. Summaries require a device that supports Gemini Nano. Bookmarks stay on the device; no cloud sync.
Questions
What if macOS says the developer cannot be verified?
Download Atoyomu again from the official Mac page and make sure your Mac meets the system requirements. A notarized release should open normally; do not disable Gatekeeper. If the warning remains, contact support@atoyomu.com.
What happens if my device doesn't support Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano?
You can still save, organize and read bookmarks. Summaries stay in a pending state and are generated automatically if you later move to a supported device. Atoyomu never falls back to a cloud service.
Does Atoyomu need an account?
No. There is no Atoyomu account and no sign-up. Libraries stay on each device. The upcoming Mac companion is optional; pair each iPhone or iPad with an approved Mac using the same Apple Account.
Why is a page marked "not enough text"?
Some pages have too little readable article text to summarize responsibly, such as landing pages, login walls or video pages. The bookmark is kept and you can open the original page or retry after the page changes.
Can I read the full article inside the app?
Yes. Opening a bookmark shows the summary, category and tags; one more tap opens the original page in the built-in browser. Atoyomu doesn't store the article body itself.
Do my Android bookmarks sync with my iPhone?
No. Libraries stay on each device, including iPhone and iPad. Use export and import to move saved articles between devices.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app to remove local data. To remove old library data or companion data retained in iCloud, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Atoyomu › Delete Data.
